FAMILY PETITION (Form I-130):

Family petitions comprise a large part of our work. We offer assistance in filing petitions for your spouse, children, siblings, or parents. Only a U.S. citizen or permanent resident can file a visa petition on behalf of a family member. The petitioner is the citizen or resident who files the visa petition and the beneficiary is the family member who is going to immigrate.

NATURALIZATION:

We also help our client with naturalizations. The process by which a lawful permanent resident becomes a citizen is called naturalization. An applicant must meet certain requirements to become a U.S. citizen. The person must: be a lawful permanent resident (have a green card); be at least 18 years old; have good moral character; be able to read, write, and speak basic English; be able to pass a test on U.S. history and government; have been residing in the U.S. as a permanent resident for at least the last five years; have been physically present in the U.S. for at least half of the five year period; not have disrupted her continuous residence in the U.S. for any of the least five years; and believe in the principles of the U.S. Constitution and take an oath of loyalty to the U.S.

FIANCE PETITION (“K-1 VISA”):

We assist with fiancé petitions as well. The K-1 visa petition allows a U.S. citizen (but not a lawful permanent resident) to petition for a fiancé to enter the U.S. in order to marry him or her. It is a non-immigrant visa petition that allows the fiancé to enter the U.S. for a limited time and purpose: to marry the U.S. citizen within 90 days of arrival.
